Operation & Usage Tips

1. Dry Vacuuming
   • Always use the cloth filter bag, ensuring it seals properly. Replace it when full or damaged.
   • Wash the filter bag by hand with mild detergent when needed, and let it dry completely before reuse. 
2. Wet Vacuuming
   • If foamy liquids are involved, use a defoamer. Foam can bypass the automatic float shut-off and damage the motor. 
   • When draining, use the drain hose, twist off the knob, let the water flow, and then rinse the tank to prevent odors buildup. 
3. Using the Squeegee and Hose
   • The squeegee blade needs to be level. If it isn’t, adjust it with the knobs and handle until it is properly aligned. 
   • The hose “accordion stretch” provides flexibility: extend it as needed (up to about 10 ft), and it retracts automatically when the hose end is covered (with the vacuum on).

Maintenance — Keeping It Running

• Weekly / Monthly Care:

1. Swipe down the squeegee blades; clean them whenever streaks appear. Replace when worn. 
2.  Inspect hoses for holes, loose connections, and obstructions.
3.  Check the power cord; replace if damaged. Coil carefully when storing. 

• Motor & Filters:

1. Clean or lift/clean motor filters daily if heavy use demands; clogged filters reduce suction and can lead to overheating. 
2.  Monthly check on motor brushes — replace when down to or below ~10 mm / 0.38 in.
